Army Historical Foundation The motto of the Foundation -- Preserve the Heritage...Educate the Future -- summarizes its mission. The Foundation seeks to educate future Americans to fully appreciate the sacrifices that generations of American soldiers have made to safeguard the freedoms of this nation.
